I WILL NOT TRY...
I WILL DO!
MY STORY
I've never been the type to sit still. Sports, Pilates, yoga, running, resistance training — I showed up consistently. But I also showed up to a cycle I couldn't break: lose 10 pounds, gain 15 back. Repeat. Year after year, my body wasn't cooperating with my effort.
Then I hit a wall. Running a business, raising my daughter and two nieces, and working through family issues took over — and fitness stopped being something I made time for. It wasn't a decision. It just stopped.
Then I turned forty.
Two weeks before a family trip to Florida, I tried on my summer shorts. They didn't fit past my thighs. I looked in the mirror and didn't recognize myself — twenty pounds heavier than I'd been. But the weight wasn't the real shock. It was how I felt. I wasn't sleeping. I was constantly exhausted. Walking up a flight of stairs left me breathless.
That's when it hit me: my effort wasn't the problem. My approach was.
I didn't wait for the vacation to end, or for Monday to roll around. I started the next day. And I haven't stopped.
What changed wasn't just exercise — it was everything. How I moved. What I fueled my body with. How I thought about strength. What I expected from myself. The weight came off. More importantly, I got my life back.
Now I work with so many living what I lived — the frustration, the exhaustion, the feeling that your own body has become a stranger. I know what it's like to run short on time, energy, and motivation, because I've been there.
Being a good coach isn't only about credentials. It's about empathy, listening, and seeing what someone needs before they can put it into words themselves. My mission is simple: help you get off the yo-yo train for good, and build a life where fitness works with you — not against you.
The credential that's mattered most is the one I earned myself, after 40, when it would've been easy to assume it was too late.
